The model of the electric generator AW-I Mk2 RS is an improved version AW-I 3P, in which our developers managed to solve two important tasks at once: to deduce the specific output characteristics of the generator to a new impressive level and provide a flanged way to install the generator.
Thanks to the development of patented technology MFF®, we have developed a more efficient and lightweight rotor, which allowed us to increase the output power of serial AW-I products by almost 1.5 times compared to earlier versions. Despite the use of a flange and a shaft of increased diameter, the weight of the AW-I Mk2 RS increased slightly relative to the previous generation model, AW-I 3P. At the same time, the strength and reliability of the AW-I Mk2 RS generator design has increased significantly.
An important design feature of this model was the use of a flange mounting of the generator and a shaft of increased diameter with a key. This made it possible to simplify the integration of the generator into various systems. At the request of the customer, the generator can be supplied in one of two versions of the flange mounting: AW-I Mk2 RS1 (M10 threaded holes) and AW-I Mk2 RS2 (M10 bolt threaded holes), see the technical specifications table and dimensional drawing.
