There are 3 levels of anti-corrosive protection for All-Wind “marine” generators:
* Standard anti-corrosive protection of metal surfaces while the composite stator provides a reliable sealing of the windings.
* Two special SKF ball bearings ensure both the rotation smoothness and protection of the rotor unit from dust.
* Extra sealing by silicone seals that prevent the penetration of dust into the body.
The CCSC-3® Technology stator is made from composite materials, which should have the properties of high shape precision in a wide temperature range and provide mechanical strength. In order to ensure these requirements our engineers have worked out the original technology of the compound sealing of the stator's windings. High-quality and high-precision metal parts. Small gaps between the rotor and stator systems with a tolerance of dozens of microns demand high manufacturing standards from most of the parts of AW products. These parts are processed by modern CNC machines and pass strict entrance controls.
We recommend to install the AW-I 3P Turbo to the platform of a wind turbine in the way shown on the pictures.
The standoffs, bolts and nuts are not included in the kit's supply. These parts should be designed by a manufacturer of a wind turbine.
